The product is great. My daughter needs to wear leg braces and we have been to every brick and mortar store, tried every shoe imaginable and nothing found for her braces properly. I heard about Billy’s and went to order a pair. My daughter needs to wear her braces daily. We ordered the shoes, it took a week to arrive. We were super excited. However, the size was much smaller than expected. She normally wears a us 4, with the braces, she needed to go up one size, to a 5. I ordered that size, they finally arrive, my daughter loves the Color and style of the shoe and she was very excited to start wearing her braces. She went to put the shoes on, without socks or her braces, she just put her foot into them. Before even standing up, her toe was smashed up and we knew we needs another size. We loved how easy it was to get the braces on and off. So, I immediately sent the shoes back. The shoes are kinda pricey, but I’m willing to do anything to get my daughter to be able to wear her braces. Right now my budget is very tight. I needed the refund in order to purchase the next size. However. I assumed from talking to others that the reimbursement process is a quick one and it should happen fast. I took the shoes to my local UPS. They gave me a slip of paper, which I kept. I did this over four days ago. I assumed as soon as UPS scanned that little code that was sent to me, they would at least notify me that the return is on its way back. I already ordered her replacement shoes which has put me In a pinch. I wish they would notify me that the shoes are on there way back. I can’t seem to find a number to call. The tracking show that the shoes have never been sent. The shoes are great, not being able to try them on first and the long shipping time is definitely a bummer. I am beyond grateful for the shoes however. Literally tried every shoe suggested to me and this hopefully, are the only ones I’ve found that work easily with her braces. The zipper along the side and the way you can completely open the shoe makes it super functional,I used to sweat and curse under my breath as i used to jam her braces into shoes, and push and pull, and with these shoes, it’s a night and day difference! I don’t even break a sweat, or get sassy for a moment. The styles and available colors are all really cool. My daughter has no trouble finding a pair she loves!! This pair was really nice, we were really disappointed they didn’t fit. And now to have to wait for one pair to be sent back, which could take a week or more, and then another week for the new pair. She is young so she is growing fast. Both her parents are tall so she is growing like a weed.She gets new braces twice a year due to this fact. So we have a short period of time where she can wear these ones. Anyways long review. Quick summary: 1. Great shoes for braces. Easy in and out due to the crafty zipper that goes around the shoe. 2, cool colors and styles to choose from. 3. Affordable, especially when compared to other special shoe makersDownside: 1. It takes a long time for the refund to take place, I am nervous about the whole UPS drop off. It hasnt been registered to my account yet, and I returned them several days ago. All they gave me was this receipt, which really doesn’t say much or verify the shoes or how much was spent. The employees at UPS just scanned my code, then took my boxOf shoes unwrapped. I asked if they needed it wrapped in a box. They said no. 2. The sizes run small really small and I don’t think that’s messaged anywhere. 3. I’m having a hard time getting my reimbursement for the shoes I returned.
