Sweats became my go-to attire while recovering after my knee replacement; I love sweats for ease and comfort, but I don’t like being seen in them in public! I chose these for the narrowed ankle, good reviews, and wide, elastic waistband (whoever imagined that a tied drawstring bulging coyly like a growth under a T-shirt could be fetching?). I also detest pockets in sweats, because even though they are so handy, they usually add a disproportionate amount of bulk to the hip area because of the way the thick fabric bunches up.The pocket design of these sweats definitely minimizes the awkward bulky look. Overall, the fit is flattering; the fabric is cozy-soft, gentle, supple, and breathable; and they are well made.Finally, if you decide to purchase these very nice sweats, you should know that, for some profoundly mysterious reason, “Oatmeal” color is actually standard issue light grey. I ordered 2 pairs of “oatmeal”, expecting them to be the same color as, um…….……. oatmeal. Light tan, like your oatmeal for breakfast, right? I have never been served or cooked any light grey oatmeal. Maybe oatmeal is the new grey?
