The fitIf you are someone who never misses leg day, the size that fits you correctly at the waist will feel like leggings below the crotch, though they did loosen up a tiny bit after wearing them for a day. They did fine at the gym this morning, but they're more snug than I'm used to. They're the perfect weight for me, not too light and not too heavy. Also the pockets are the perfect size and made of the same material as the outside. Length is fine, maybe a tiny bit long.My only complaints are that the super long drawstring makes it a bit tricky to get the waist snug enough to stay up without being a trip hazard at the gym, and that the inseam zippers don't make enough room to take them off or put them on without also removing my size 12 shoes. Definitely no deal breakers, and we'll see how they hold up over time. Maybe I'll trim the drawstring.For reference I ordered a large. I am 6'0", about 215 pounds. Much of which is from strength training but some is also from cheeseburgers and beer.Got these as part of my son's going to college haul. He loves them (getting couple more colors for him) but be aware of the thigh fit. My son is a swimmer so his thighs are pretty muscular and these fit kind of tight in that area even though we sized up to the largest XXL. Overall, though, they are a nice fit and he says super comfortable.I have track pants from other companies in the same size, color, and material that fit perfectly. These track pants have a weird fit. The thighs are too tight and the legs are too long.I bought black and navy. Black was manufactured here in LA and seemed to have a skinny fit. The navy seemed made elsewhere (even with a white tag instead of black like the latter) and had a looser fit. Keep the quality control, fir, and stitching consistent please.I like the quality, the 2x I normally buy should have been a 3x.I got these for myself because I love men's track pants. I am tall so the longer leg was appealing to me, plus, I love the black with orange strip. The zippers are a nice touch and the pants are made well for the price. Only problem I have is, the length isn't really that long and material has to much static electricity. No matter what you wash them in or add to the dryer the pants are always staticie.great fitI have bought several pairs of these pants for my son. I have one pair with the grey stripe that I am not happy with. The material has round piles on it just this pair. I realize it us just past the return date. He has only wore them twice the others more often. They fit fine. Just can't wear them out now.I like them because they are slim fitting and they Look great with white kicks!
